I have been teaching at LMU since 1989. I have a Ph.D. in International Economics from UCLA. My main area of research is the Global Economy -- past, present and future. MY current research projects focus on exchange rate issues. At LMU, I teach introductory Macroeconomics and rotate between International Trade and International Finance. Besides LMU, I have worked at the World Bank, and have held visiting (fellowship) positions at the International Development Centre, Queen Elizabeth House, Oxford University and the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). I have publications in the Atlantic Economic Journal, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Economics Letters and the Southern Economic Journal. I have also published a book on trade in South Asia.
