An animation of the disassembly of the binding of Ashmole 33 (made from my photographs of paper facsimilies).

The following stages of disassembly are represented: 1. The composite wrapper is opened to reveal the inner MS book containing the romance of Sir Ferumbras. 2. The inner book (here represented in dark brown) is removed from the composite wrapper. 3. The inner vellum sheet of the wrapper (here represented in white) is removed from the outer (light brown) wrapper. REPLAY
