Course Description :
This course will cover the political, diplomatic, social, intellectual, & cultural history of  20th Cebtury Europe. The major areas of investigation will include the following:

• The Generation Before the Great War; War and Revolution, 1914-1919; The Peace That Failed; The Age of  The Dictators; Toward Inevitable Conflict; The Second World War; Rebuilding Europe; From Hot War to Cold War; The Walls Came Tumbling Down.

 Hist 101-Western Traditions; Also any courses in 19th  century European History or areas of study (French, German, English, Russian, Italian, Balkan history).
