The progress bar should zip right along. Launching the program itself is pretty fast; when you are simultaneously opening a large complicated session the process can take a bit longer. And note: the number of audio plug-ins that load can greatly increase the launch time. ("Plug-ins" give you lots of sound processing modules for creating interesting effects such as reverb, echo, etc.)
