I don't claim to be a great photographer, but I've spent my share of time
in the darkroom. When I was an undergraduate I was the photography
editor of the yearbook at The University of Virginia, Corks & Curls.
As a graduate student, I continued taking pictures in my spare time, including
many for the admissions office at the University of California at Irvine.
Now, photography is a simply a hobby (well, except for the work I've done
for the physics department while creating our web pages).
Most of the photos can best be described as postcard shots- the type of
pictures that would find their way into the opening of the yearbook.
Currently, I'm also interested in combining physics and photography.
There are a few examples in the galleries that use polarized light to produce
interesting patterns. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
