Thinking in Physics
The project is still in the earliest stages, but we have already seen some promising results. Students' scores on the Classroom Test of Scientific Thinking improved after participating in TIP.
Students enrolled in in TIP III last fall showed larger normalized gains than their peers with comparable SAT scores.
The blue circles represent the baseline, 627 high school and university students enrolled in interactive physics courses (averaged within 25 bins).
The larger red circles are the 24 students who participated in TIP III.
