Physics 201- Introduction to Electricity & Magnetism
September 30- Little bit of everything

Look at various equations of this semeter and recall the assumptions behind each.

Gauss' Law is one of the few fundamental equations we'll meet this semester.  It is one fourth of Maxwell's equations which describe all of electromagnetism.

There is a general algorithm for using Gauss' Law to find electric fields.

Another Gauss' Law exercise:
A drum inside of a photocopier has a total charge of 1 mC on its surface.  It is cylindrical in shape with a radius of 6 cm and length 42 cm.  What is the electric field just above the surface of the drum?
