Physics 201- Introduction to Electricity & Magnetism
November 25- Induced electric fields

Test corrections are due at the beginning of class next Monday (December 2)- NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • To earn points, explanations of what was wrong (with the correct solution) need to be provided.
  • If you scored lower than 70, you must discuss the test with me to earn the points.  Others are more than welcome to talk with me about the test, but aren't required.
  • You can earn up 25% of your missed points.

There is an exercise due the Wednesday after break- concept maps for the entire semester. (Use this to help prepare for the final.)  Try to draw the map with the goal of narrowing your list of fundamental concepts to as small as possible.  Look for connections between the concepts and see how much of what we studied has been an application of one of the fundamental concepts.

Today we'll talk about:

  • Magnetic flux
  • Lenz's law
  • Electromagnetic fields and cancer
