  Using Ampere's Law to calculate B

Determine the magnetic field created by a current carrying wire  Find the field both inside and outside of the wire.  The wire is of radius R and there is a uniform current density such that the total current is I.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

A current flows down the center conducting cylinder (r<c) of a coaxial cable.  A current of the same magnitude flows in the opposite direction along the outer conducting cylindrical shell (b < r < a).  Determine the magnetic field everywhere.











Current flows along a thin, infinite sheet.  The current per length along the sheet is j (A/m).  What is the magnetic field above and below the sheet?
