Don't forget, there are problems due on Friday. These should help you prepare for...

Our dynamics test is Monday.

- As you prepare for the upcoming test, look again at all of the examples in chapter 5 and section 1 of chapter 6. Try solving them yourself before you look at the text’s solution. Remember, that may be more than one mathematical representation for the same physical situation (different coordinate system, etc.).
- There are some good problem solving hints on page 124 for N2 problems & exercises.
- Especially practice free-body diagrams and writing the various force components for N2. (Chapter 3 has more examples on writing a vecor in terms of its components.)

Today we'll work through as many exercises as possible. Most of these involve applications of Newton's Second Law. Along the way we'll study friction in a more quantitative way.

On Friday, we'll practice more applications of Newton's Laws, including situations where we have uniform circular motion.
