Solutions Manual are now on reserve at the library. The manual
has (rough) solutions for many odd problems- useful when studying for tests.
Vectors
A vector is a quantity with both a length
and a direction.
Vectors can be described by a series of numbers
(components) or by a direction and length (magnitude).
We can add or subtract vectors graphically
or numerically.
2-D motion
Much more common than 1-D motion.
May appear to be more complicated, but actually
involves no new physics.
Each component can be assumed to be independent
of each other.
