There
will be an informational meeting next Tuesday (May 1) for anybody interested
in learning more about the physics and engineering physics majors (and
physics minor!). The meeting will be in Seaver 109 at 12:15.
Sigma Xi is sponsoring a semianr this Friday: Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs of Creating a High Tech Company by Dr. Gene Dantsker of Nanostream. Seaver 111 at 3:15. Extra exercises for test preparation: 12-25P, 13-11P, 13-23P The momentum problems are due on Friday. The momentum test is on Monday. Advance warning... there will be an exercises due May 1 that will ask you to make a concept map of everything we've studied this semester. This is to help you organize the ideas in a way that makes sense to you as you prepare for the final. Today- we'll define angular momentum and
look at some situations when it is conserved. (Just like linear momentum.)
