Course Title: The Instrumental Experience

Course Description (Principal topics covered):

Guitar: Exploration of the basic techniques of performing on the guitar including 1) learning to read music, 2) chords and accompanimental style, and 3) the preparation of solo pieces.

Piano: Exploration of the basic techniques of performing piano literature; study of fundamental musical elemets--rhythm, melody, key structures, notation, and reading music.
